Stockroom Clerk

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces and we are currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk. This position will be based out of Moncton, NB
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
Physical and electronic receiving of inventory;
Handle and storage of all parts and inventory;
Inventory management, cycle counts;
Cleanliness of warehouse;
Follow up of short ship and damaged goods;
Shipping and receiving duties;
Maintain stock levels - order reorder;
Use company supplied inventory management system;
Purchasing of inventory;
Support operations and maintenance staff with counter service;
Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate stock levels;
All other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Experience in a warehouse environment is considered an asset;
Forklift experience considered an asset;
Indoor and outdoor activity required;
Ability of lifting up to 50lbs;
Willingness to work in a team environment;
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner;
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors;
Working safely is a condition of employment.
