Heating Element Worker

Our facility in Parry Sound Ontario, in the heart of the beautiful 30,000 islands, has a new employment opportunity. We are looking for a Heating Element Workers to join our team

Please note that regular hours for this position will be **2:30pm
- 11pm.**

Base Rate**:$27.50/hour** - **Afternoon shift premium $2 per hour.**

**Overtime and Shift Work may be required.**
- Experience preferred but not required._

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate production line machinery and computers
- Perform pre-shift tool and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot production line machinery
- Perform equipment change overs
- Responsible for quality control
- Make necessary adjustments to produce product within specifications
- Reject product outside of specifications
- Operate within standard operating procedures SOPs and job safety analysis JSAs
- Operate forklift, overhead cranes or mobile yard cranes (if qualified)
- Complete daily production timecard through MES-Epicor
- Perform daily preventive maintenance PMS on production line machinery or tools
- Communicate with operators from other shifts
- Clean and maintain work area
- Lock out equipment in the event of equipment failure
- Work shifts work as required
- Must meet other qualifications and checklists as required

**Qualifications**:

- Experience manufacturing or working with heating elements.
- Experience working in a manufacturing/ machining environment.
- Possesses a mechanical aptitude/ familiarity with mechanical concepts.
- Skilled in setting up and operating machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and quality control.
- Familiarity with various materials, including metals and plastics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprint.
- Awareness of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
