**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Support cooks during meal service by preparing garnishes and plating dishes.
- Clean workstations and dining areas to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and the hospitality industry is highly desirable.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
