Job Summary:
We are seeking a Rental Manager to oversee rental operations at our heavy machinery dealership in Chilliwack. The Rental Manager will be responsible for managing the rental process, creating and implementing processes and procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the rental process from start to finish, including customer inquiries, reservations, contracts, and returns
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their rental needs and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of rental transactions and inventory levels
- Utilize a point-of-sale (POS) system to process rental transactions and handle cash handling duties
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of rental equipment
- Train and supervise rental staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase rental revenue and customer satisfaction
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new rental team members

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales with heavy machinery as asset
- Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Knowledge of buying and selling processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Multilingual skills are a bonus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
