**HR Generalist - Part-time Hamilton** We are a longstanding brush manufacturing company based in Hamilton, ON. As such, we have solidified ourselves as a trusted supplier to the aerospace, automotive, and metalworking industries. We are looking for a Part-Time HR Generalist to join the team. The desire is for a long-term permanent part-time with 2-3 days at the office with room for some flexibility. **Job Description Points**: - Maintain and update HR records, including employee files, time and attendance records, and other HR data - Act as a resource to employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters, policies, and procedures. - Help to develop and drive a high-performance and connected work culture; ensure that decisions and processes are aligned with culture and core beliefs. - Develop and manage HR policies and procedures. - Maintain current knowledge of all related Company policies and employment legislation (i.e., Employment Standards, Workplace Safety, and enforce adherence to requirements; advise managers/supervisors on a needed basis. - Recruitment & Employee Onboarding for office and production hires - Manage and oversee employee benefits administration. - Other HR-related projects and initiatives **Requirements**: - University degree/ College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. - CHRP is considered an asset. - At least 3-4yrs experience as an HR Generalist - Desire for long-term permanent part-time employment; based on 2-3 days per week in the office. - Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is preferred, and interest or prior experience in Policy and Procedure development is strongly desired. - Proficient with Microsoft 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organization skills and attention to detail - Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills - Positive & strong work ethic that acts as a role model to all team members.
