**Construction Quality Control/Assurance**
**Main Reporting Location**: Lively Office

**Duties**:Under the general supervision of the Operations & Field Managers
- Perform quality assurance (QA) inspections of work carried out on CCM Projects.
- Support various projects to ensure consistent documentation and compliance with project plans, specifications and instructions related to the quality control (QC) of materials, methods, and workmanship.
- Inspect and monitor QC and QA tests on construction projects in accordance with project plans, specifications and quality management plans.
- Monitor quality and quantity of delivered materials and ensure supporting documentation is collected.
- Prepare and maintain various reports and documentation (e.g. inspection sheets, turnover documentation, redline drawings, TSSA documentation/notification, Non
- conformance reports, site photos), ensuring quality data and standards are maintained.
- Document and inform Project Leads of any deviations or non-compliances to contract specifications and internal policies/procedures. Consult with Project Lead on requested scope, schedule or cost changes.
- May be required to check summaries of materials delivered to sites to ensure supporting documentation is included (i.e. weigh tickets, packing slips).
- Participate in the preparation or revision of inspection manuals and related documents.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CCM Contracting Ltd.’s Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation.
- Prepare all required documentation for ISO 9001 Audits, TSSA Audits, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- AutoCAD experience an asset, but not mandatory.
- Two-five years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of construction best practices, materials, and applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of contract language, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills in dealing with Client teams.
- Excellent use of English; verbally and in writing.
- Must be physically capable of operating a vehicle safely, possess a valid driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record (travel to/from Sault Ste. Marie may be required.).

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
