Our Contract Engineering Department is Canada's largest supplier of space optical sensors used, among other things, for greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and weather forecasting worldwide. Our plant is also known for its expertise in the development and manufacture of various products that make it possible to meet several industrial analysis needs on a daily basis. By joining one of the largest engineering departments in Québec, you will actively contribute to the activities of a dynamic and stimulating multidisciplinary team. You will work as part of a team in the realization of engineering contracts within the Measurement and Analytics business unit in the city of Québec (Canada). Your clients and projects are varied, including the Canadian and European space agencies. Reporting to both the supply chain manager and the project office, you will have to set up and manage complex contracts enabling the delivery of projects aimed at launching products developed by a strong technical team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of subcontractors for all phases of projects from tendering to close-out.
- Drafting and preparing various types of contractual. agreements, including technical conception, material, NDA’s, IP.
- Support subcontract negotiations.
- Develop subcontract management plan with performance indicators.
- Own the vendor relationship.
- Own the development and management of the SOW, WBS and subcontract master schedule, work with vendor to manage any change to technical, schedule or cost baseline.
- Liaise and coordinate with Tax, Finance, project controls, compliance, SCM and legal to ensure that all contracts and any contractual mechanisms are delivered in accordance with ABB relevant policies.
- Proactively manage risk.
- Claim and disputes resolution.

**Your background**:

- A university degree in Business, Engineering, or other related field.
- 5 + years direct contract management / subcontracting experience and negotiation, ideally in aerospace and defense industry.
- Experience drafting and managing technical SOW, WBS and master schedulers, including milestone payment plan.
- Experience in full cycle contracting: tendering to close-out.
- Experience negotiating and implementing contract changes.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Project management certification (PMP) is an asset.
