Lube Technician

Job description

This is a busy, quick paced environment. **Reliability a Must**

**Job Summary**
- Provide exceptional customer service and professionally handle any customer concerns with the utmost care. Lubers is highly customer service focused.
- Answer all client questions with professional and informative information and have a clear understanding on the products and services provided by Lubers Express. **Training provided.**:

- Ensure the shop (lower and upper bays), washrooms, indoor & outdoor storage areas, and parking lot are kept clean and walking areas are clear of obstacles
- Carefully and accurately enter all required information into the bay computers for every vehicle service
- Change engine oil on automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, boats, and ATV’s
- Drop oil, replace oil, air, fuel filters and other filters that may be applicable
- Grease vehicle zerks as required
- Check tire pressure and top up with air if required
- Wash vehicle windows
- Ensure all fluids under the hood are at the appropriate levels and top up as requested by the customer
- Add or replace fluid in drive lines
- Perform rock chip repairs, coolant, and transmission fluid exchanges
- Ensure the shelves are kept clean and stocked as required
- Inform the shop purchaser of any items running low or out of stock
- Perform end of shift and end of day duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Basic vehicle knowledge, relevant experience & an interest in vehicles is a bonus **but not required.** We are happy to provide full, on the job training.
- Reliable, able to work shift work. **This is a deal breaker**:

- Able to work in a team setting
- Able to work under pressure. Our shop is extremely busy and fast paced.
- Must always keep safety top of mind
- Ability to problem solve independently and under pressure
- Ability to provide top notch customer service.
- Able to get to and from work without issue.

**Education**
- Any job-related education is an asset **but not required**

We are a family owned and operated quick lube shop that was established in 2000. We currently have 1 location in Drayton Valley & a second location in Fernie, British Columbia. We specialize in oil changes, coolant, transmission & power steering flushes, driveline fluid changes, windshield rock chip repairs & more We strongly believe in providing top notch customer service and ensuring our customer are treated like family.

**The starting wage is $19.25. After 4 months, there is an increase to $19.75.**

**Salary**: $19.25-$19.75 per hour
