_The Friends_ is recruiting Independent Living Assistants in the Muskoka area for travel to Bracebridge, Huntsville and surrounding areas in our Respite and Outreach programs. If you are looking for meaningful work to make a difference in the lives of others, we provide comprehensive training, support and an inclusive team environment.

Independent Living Assistants provide service to individuals with physical disabilities and/or seniors by supporting them in their home with personal care, activities of daily living and encouraging/facilitating client ability to gain/maintain independence.
- PSW or equivalent
- the ability to work both with direction and independently
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- sound judgement and discretion in confidential matters
- experience and willingness to work as a team member
- excellent physical strength and stamina
- must have reliable vehicle & valid drivers license, **travel is required**

*willing and confident to drive in the Bracebridge, Huntsville and surrounding areas.

**There is a $3/hour wage enhancement that is included in the wage range listed**

**Travel time and mileage paid between all client visits**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.91 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
