Today our uniquely integrated health care organization includes: Lakeland Long Term Care, six Nursing Stations delivering care to rural communities, management of District ambulance services and dispatch, and a full range of in-patient and out-patient programs associated with a 90-bed acute care hospital.

**About the Opportunity**:
WPSHC currently has an opening for a **Security Guard/ Building Monitor** **to join our organization in **Parry Sound, Ontario**. The successful applicant will assist in ensuring building security and the safety of patients, staff and visitors.

The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends.

**More About You**:
To qualify for the role, you will need to have completed Grade 12 or equivalent. You will also need to have:

- Successful completion of an aggressive behaviour course;
- Must be physically capable of fulfilling the physical duties of the position, such as transferring loads of 30 lbs.+ and transporting equipment and supplies throughout the Health Centre;
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references;
- Valid license to act as a Security Guard as required under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005;
