Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg ON is seeking several dynamic Personal Support Workers (PSWs) that are dedicated, caring and energetic and above all passionate about helping our residents with activities of daily living.
**SHIFTS AVAILABLE**
- Part Time
- days, evenings and nights with weekend availability
**WHAT WE OFFER**
- Starting rate of pay is **$24.55** per hour then moves to **$25.45** after 3 months
- **PLUS** an additional **$.25 per hour** in lieu of extended health benefits

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**
- Must have a **valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker** or be enrolled as a RPN or RN Student
- Must have a sincere interest in people, the elderly in particular, and possess a genuine sensitivity to their needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Able to cope with physical and emotional demands of the job
- Punctual and reliable

**ABOUT MAPLE MANOR**
Maple Manor Nursing Home, locally owned and operated, is a long-term care facility located in the downtown core of Tillsonburg Ontario. The home is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is Accredited through the Person-Centred Long Term Care Community Standards of CARF Canada. The Home is a 101-bed, smoke free facility offering private, semi-private and ward accommodations. In addition, Maple Manor has four temporary licenses for Interim Long-Term Care Home beds through the Aging at Home program. These beds provide a location for residents who would otherwise be kept in hospital while awaiting placement into a Long-Term Care facility.
The Home’s philosophy of care is centered on nurturing the human spirit. As such, we pledge to meet the individual needs of the clients using a resident-centered focus. Care and services for the residents are provided holistically such that their physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs are met to the best of our abilities.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $24.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
