Sourcing Specialist

**We are currently looking for an experienced Ousourcing-Sourcing Specialist to join our growing organization.**

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our outsourcing partners (vendors, suppliers). This role requires a strong background in project management, vendor management, and process improvement.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitors a portfolio of external vendors to ensure it meets company standards which includes quality
- Acts as the contact for internal stakeholders in identifying sourcing needs and understanding procurement policies, processes, and requirements
- Ensure effective collaboration of the project team in the preparation of the plan including scoping, work schedule, budget and resource allocation, quality assurance and control measures, and project risk management
- Reviewing bids from vendors for new projects or contracts and recommending which bids should be accepted based on price, qualifications of the vendor, and other factors
- Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and pricing with vendors to ensure fair payment terms and conditions
- Follow-up of work schedule by project team
- Manages vendor invoicing and payments in accordance with company policy
- Provides advice to internal stakeholders on reviewing and interpreting contracts, and acts as a point of contact to resolve contract issues
- Work with the Project Coordinator to ensure all administrative work is completed on time to ship, bill, and resolve any outstanding client issues
- Develop sourcing plans and contributes to quarterly and annual plans
- Monitors vendor performance against SLAs/contract performance and take corrective action when required
- Create and issue requisitions for RFQ’s
- Identify potential vendors that can meet those needs
- Issue requests for proposals (RFPs) and lead the evaluation process
- Make recommendations to senior management on which vendors to use
- Manages vendor lists
- Research and look for vendors and qualify them

**Profile**
- Collegial Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Administration, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including sourcing and contract administration functions
- Knowledge of project management and related industry experience
- Able to read, understand and work with technical information
- Experience tracking relevant KPIs for vendors
- Strong negotiating skills
- Proactive and assertive; self-starter; able to take initiative as required
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of management
- Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written
