THIS IS AN A REQUEST FOR APPRENTICE STEAMFITTERS (2nd to 4th).

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to Journeyman / Site Supervisor
- Observe all safe work practices and procedures, and adhere to Wescan and General Contractor / Client safety protocol.
- Installing heating and cooling systems.
- Identification of obstructions, planning design, layout and pipe fabrication and installation, channeling openings in walls, ceilings, and floors.
- Hang steel supports for ceiling joists in order to secure pipes.
- Assemble pipe systems, cut and bend lengths of pipes using saws, pipe cutters, and pipe bending machines, using welding, soldering, fittings, and adhesives to secure cut lengths of copper, victolic, black steel, and stainless steel.
- Rigging, craning and lifting equipment
- Measure, mark, install, and connect fixtures and appliances.
- Ensured integrity of systems through use of pressure gauges.
- Provide sketches and dimensions used by drafter to create plans for subcontractor work
- Research catalogs and vendor services for complex customized system retrofits.
- Other duties as the job requires.

**Salary**: $22.87-$30.49 per hour
