Material Handler

**Position: Material Handler** **Location**:Ayr, Ontario (Near Cambridge, Kitchener/Waterloo) **Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm “B" Shift** Bend All Automotive ULC (BAA) is a leading supplier of Automotive Components and Automation Tooling Equipment. We are seeking a dedicated, motivated Material Handler to help us grow. **Primary responsibilities**: - Accountable for the safe transportation of materials from Receiving to Production ensuring accurate transactions of material movement in the ERP system - Monitors and maintains production work in progress (WIP) to ensure machine operators have the required materials - Responsible for the timely collection of finished goods to ensure shipment deadlines are met - Adheres to customer specific packaging requirements - Completes cycle count activities as requested to ensure accurate inventory transactions - Participates in annual physical inventory - Aides other departments in material movement as requested **Qualifications**: - Completion of Grade 12 (OSSD) or GED is required - Minimum of one (1) - three (3) years’ experience in a logistics environment; automotive preferred - Minimum of three (3) years’ licensed forklift experience (propane or electric) - Ability to perform tasks within defined work instructions - Adheres to related health and safety legislation (forklift safety) - Use of simple mathematical calculations to ensure accuracy of inventory reporting **Must have**: - Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills - Sound organizational skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Strong commitment to customer satisfaction - Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment - Must be flexible and available to participate in inventory and cycle count outside of regular hours as required Bend All is committed to promoting accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities and complying with the _Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act_, and makes accommodations available for applicants with disabilities in its recruitment processes_. _When an applicant for employment is chosen to participate in an assessment and/or the selection process, reasonable accommodations are available upon request in relation to the materials or processes to be used. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Overtime Work Location: In person
