Asphalt Estimator

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed bid proposals.
- Collaborate with project management teams to develop comprehensive project budgets.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive bids.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide updates as necessary.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $60,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Commission pay
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
