- As a Electrical Team Lead in the Industrial team at Pomerleau Construction, you will report to the Industrial Construction Director. Working on large-scale projects - ranging from $50 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will play an important role in coordinating and supervising all the activities of the stakeholders and reporting on the progress of the activities.
- What you will do:
- Direct construction activities on the site with the assistance of site supervisors.
- Support the construction supervisor in coordinating the contractors' work during weekly and start-of-shift meetings.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and authorizations are available before the execution of the work.
- Ensure that the project's internal procedures and systems are respected and implemented by supervisors, contract administrators, and other employees.
- Assist the supply chain manager and the construction contracts manager or others.
- Ensure that coordination with on-site engineering activities meets the project's needs.
- Monitor the quality assurance program for the work and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare and issue the required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
This role could be for you if you have:
- Certification in piping (DEC) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Piping Construction Management or a similar role in a heavy industrial environment.
- Experience in managing relationships with contractors.
- Knowledge of the context of piping equipment construction.
- Knowledge of the main equipment installed in industrial construction projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
