**Tax Preparer**

Liberty Tax has an exciting opportunity for a Tax Preparer in our Kitchener, ON office.

As a member of the team at Liberty, you will be responsible for preparing precise tax returns while delivering outstanding customer service.

**Tax Preparer duties include**:

- Provide each client with exceptional service
- Conduct a thorough client tax interview
- Precisely input all client data into the tax software
- Accurately explain the tax return, collect required signatures
- Ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Assist with business growth and local marketing
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Prior tax preparation experience a plus
- Proficient computer skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, friendly attitude

*Hourly rate based on experience.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- income tax preparation: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
