Tundra Rescue is hiring for full time positions for qualified Level III IRATA and/or SPRAT Rope Access Technicians for blade repair work, who are able to work in Ontario, Canada.

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience, as a certified **Level III** **IRATA and/or SPRAT Rope Access Technician**, to perform blade repair rope access services.

**Requirements**:

- **Be a Level III SPRAT or IRATA rope access technician**:

- **5 years experience**:

- **5 Years Wind Turbine Blade Repair Technician experience**:

- **Current GWO Training**:

- **Must speak english**:

- **References needed**:

- **Must be able to work in Canada**:

- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license;
- Ability to climb multiple 80m (260 ft) towers on a daily basis
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Responsible and able to work in a team, as well as alone, with constant focus on quality & safety
- Reliability and a positive approach towards work and life
- High willingness to learn and develop
- Fall Protection/Working from Heights, WMIS, and First Aid training, or willingness to be trained
- Capable of working in adverse and extreme weather conditions

Responsibilities include:

- Work at heights in excess of 300 feet and in confined spaces to complete blade inspections and repair
- Work using SPRAT or IRATA regulations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, in various locations, as required
- Inspect, maintain and repair various types of infrastructure
- Taking care of tools and all of Tundra Rescue’s equipment
- Maintaining personal certifications and qualifications for this field of work
- *Must be available to travel for work across southern Ontario*_

**Salary**: From $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

Licence/Certification:

- Level III IRATA or SPRAT Certification (required)
