**Project Manager** **Halifax, NS** **Permanent Full-time** **$75,000-$85,000** **Shift Energy Group** is seeking a **Project Manager** to join our Project Management team. The Project Manager oversees project activities for residential Solar PV system installation from start to finish, including setup, scheduling, change orders, quality control, and closeout. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring a world-class customer experience from contract signing to system activation and power production. We power change in BC, AB, ON, NB, and NS. **Responsibilities**: - Lead the planning, execution, and completion of solar installation projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. - Oversee project setup, scheduling, change orders, and quality control. - Serve as the main client contact, managing expectations and providing updates. - Coordinate appointments, documentation, and customer needs. - Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally. - Document project tasks, schedules, and interactions accurately. - Collaborate with Accounting for budget management. - Work with the warehouse team on material inventory and logistics. - Coordinate field crew schedules with the Field Manager **Role Demands**: Our residential project installations are characterized by their short-cycle nature and high volume. This role demands proficiency in managing numerous projects at different stages simultaneously in a high fast-paced environment, with a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a consistent focus on effective communication for each project. **Qualifications**: - A bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of a high school diploma and five years of relevant experience. - Professional diploma or certificate in Project Management - 3-4 years of experience in customer service, preferably working with homeowners - At least 4-5 years of experience in project Management or coordination in the construction industry is required. - 2 years of experience in workforce scheduling, particularly in the construction industry or a similar field. **Requirement** - Familiarity with the construction industry's standards, practices, and challenges, preferably in relation to solar installations. - Familiarity with project management software and tools. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. - Proficiency in navigating computer software, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Outlook. - Diligent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
