Position Requirements:

- Minimum high school diploma
- Related experience in property maintenance, turf maintenance and soft
- scaping installations are an asset
- Ability to plant, prune and remove small trees or shrubs
- Ability to lift (50lbs) is required
- Available for work weekdays and weekend work as required
- Must be willing to work in extreme out door conditions (Ie: work in all weather,
except thunder and lighting storms and torrential downpours)
- Equipment and materials that will or could be used in day to day operations include:
commercial lawn mower, weed trimmers, hand tools (rake shovel etc.) sweepers,
backpack blower, ladders, wheel barrows and fertilizers
- Landscape Ontario certifications are an asset and any back ground in horticulture
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to submit basic paper work and
administration as required
- Familiar with GPS navigation units
- Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations
- Ability and desire to work safely and efficiently, while maintaining high quality
standards as will be outlined in orientation
- Actively engage and participate in ethical behaviour amongst clients, co-workers,
and their properties
- Preferably possess a valid drivers license, G class preferred
- Demonstrate ability to effectively work with others in a fast pace work
environments under mínimal supervision
- Excellent and efficient communication skills with staff and customers
- Respectful with a high degree of patience with customers and all staff members
- Ability to diagnose and problem solve
- Ability to work independently
- Ensure project completion
