**About the Job**:
Tridon Communications is currently looking for a Quality Manager working out of our Edmonton head office. This position is contract based on an initial term of 6 months with an additional 6 month extension. Contractors are welcome to apply.

The incumbent will work with Company Leadership and Department Managers to establish a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 Standard. You will map and document processes and supporting documented information as required within the International Standard.

This position is based locally within the Edmonton area with the potential for occasional travel to other Tridon office locations.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Liaison with staff at all levels to document department processes in support of the International Standard.
- Develop and maintain control plans and analysis for all new and current programs
- Lead focused audits of processes as they are established.
- Lead the company through a trial system audit and a formal registration audit as required
- Promote, train, and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
- Provide leadership developing and directing QA and quality improvement initiatives for all company products and services.
- Perform gap analysis between applicable and current QA standards; establish and implement a quality plan to bring the company into recognized QC compliance.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.
- Persuade staff to adopt and incorporate quality methods into their work.

**Education &Experience**:

- Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma or Degree in an Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent discipline
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License or equivalent (recent Driver’s Abstract will be required upon condition of employment)
- Proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office productivity suite, Outlook, and Excel.
- Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing are desirable.
