**Job description**

St. Charles Country Club is a 27-hole, private country club, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are seeking individuals for the 2025 season who are energetic, reliable, team-oriented, and hard working. We provide a fun and positive environment and culture to work in and be apart of. You will work with the maintenance team to provide general care, maintenance and course set up of all golf course features. The club is also undergoing a 9-hole renovation project. This will see large construction taking place on that nine, with their possibly being some opportunity to assist in that project. We, at St. Charles, are a golfer’s club, with outstanding course conditioning and playability. We create memorable experiences in a relaxing environment.

**Duties**:
Routine manual labor involved in maintaining annual and perennial gardens including but not limited to:

- Plant fertilization and watering
- Planting annual installations
- Caring for growing plants by watering, pruning, cultivating, and removing dead or damaged tissue
- Mowing, string trimming and maintenance of some grass areas
- Weeding and mulching
- Perform any other related duties as directed by the Horticulturist

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation
- Available to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with fellow staff members
- Attention to detail, self-motivated
- Demonstrates knowledge and safety while using equipment
- Golf experience is an asset, but NOT required

**Compensation**

Wage starting at $15.80/hour. Golfing privileges are available to employees
