Farm Hand

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Maintain and irrigate gardens and fields to ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and other heavy equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Monitor crop health and report any issues to the farm manager.
- Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and in the field.
- Assist with general farm maintenance, including cleaning equipment and facilities.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting farm machinery.
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the day.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating necessary quantities for farming tasks.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems to maintain proper water supply for crops.
- A passion for gardening or farming is highly desirable.
