**Labourer Key Responsibilities (Included but not limited to)**:

- Assist with loading and unloading steel, parts, and materials using overhead cranes or manual methods
- Deliver materials to workstations and assist machine operators as needed
- Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, organizing, and waste removal to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Remove and dispose of scrap metal, offcuts, and debris in designated areas
- Assist with basic prep work such as grinding, deburring, or tagging parts
- Support production and maintenance teams with tasks as directed by supervisors or lead hands
- Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery, overhead cranes, and other equipment
- Help maintain equipment by reporting issues and assisting in minor upkeep tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to support shop priorities
- Adherent to company policies, safety rules, and standard operating procedures

**Industrial Painting Responsibilities**:

- Prepare steel surfaces using power tools, wire brushes, or sanders to remove scale, rust, and contaminants
- Follow specified paint systems and ensure uniform, defect-free coverage
- Inspect finished work for runs, sags, or missed spots and perform touch-ups as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized painting area, including proper storage of paints and solvents
- Dispose of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with environmental and safety standards
- Keep painting equipment clean and in good working order

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in a fabrication or industrial painting environment preferred
- Physically capable of lifting to 50 lbs. and working on foot for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy environment with proper PPE
- Overhead crane experience or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to team success

**Schedule**:

- Night shift
- Monday to Thursday
- 5:00pm to 4:30am

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
