We are currently seeking an **Housekeeper** for the **Burnaby** area with shifts possible in **Surrey **and **Maple Ridge **to see clients in their homes. Hours vary and could be flexible as well. - "It’s about touching lives and making a memorable impact."_ **JOB OVERVIEW**: - House Keeping_ As a Housekeeper, you play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our clients. Your responsibilities include preforming a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all designated areas are spotless and well-maintained. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing a high standard of cleanliness. Duties include housekeeping, laundry, pet care, as well as other additional cleaning services depending on the client plan. - "Compassionate minds at work to meet our clients needs"_ - **Qualifications**:_ **1. **Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation with a Driver Factor Report. **2.** Ability to work independently. **3.** Excellent communication and listening skills. **4. **Compassionate, patient, and caring nature. **5.** Current WHMIS Certificate, issued within the last year. **6.** Immunization Record [Hep B, Tetanus, Influenza, TB, Covid 19] **7. **Current certificate in Emergency First Aid and CPR (Recommended but optional if only performing housekeeping duties with no other positions). **8.** Food Safe BC Certification (Recommended but optional). **9**. Ability to work in a potentially stressful environment. **10.** Physical and mental fitness to handle the demands of housekeeping. **Working Conditions**: The Housekeeper's role primarily involves working at client homes, various work sites outside of client homes, and other locations as required by CARING TOUCH HOME HEALTH SERVICES management. This position may require various shifts at different times in one or more work sites. **Continued Work Requirements**: - Criminal Record Check - Covid 19 Immunization Record - Immunization Record (Influenza required - Hep B, Tetanus, TB optional but recommended) - Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families - Ability to move around different locations I.e. Valid BC DL, own vehicle (Will need to provide a Driver Factor Report) - 2 Professional References - Food Safe BC is recommended but optional - 2 Pieces of Photo Identification & Proof of eligibility to work in CA **Physical Requirements** - **Strength Guidelines**:The Housekeeper's role involves physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking.
