Dispatcher
**Location**: Markham, ON
**Position Type**: Full-time - Permanent
**Reporting**: Operations Manager
Shift 10:00am -7:00pm
Start Date TBD

**Responsibilities**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned:

- Daily liaison with each ICI employee as they complete their day for any resequencing of calls, problems, and issues
- Close each route in a timely accurate manner, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Print off all Daily Route Audit Reports once routes are closed for DM and Ops Manager review
- Print off all route sheets for the next day and distribute in CSR’s inboxes
- Support Dispatchers with duties as required
- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response
- Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues
- Records and documents information from Drivers and distributes to appropriate departments

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Previous Tux software experience is highly recommended
- Ability to engage with employee group daily to maximize efficiencies and provide outstanding service to our internal and external customers
- Highly productive with excellent written, oral and customer service skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior communication and organizational skills are key for this role, as is your ability to manage multiple priorities
- Industry knowledge would consider an asset
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
