**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and who is interested in a full-time year-round position at one of Canada’s premier private ski clubs. Reporting to the Cabin and Properties Lead, this hands-on role will focus on the Club’s Cabin Community operations, Club facilities and servicing infrastructure. Osler Bluff Ski Club has 250 plus acres of land excluding the ski resort with 200 ski cabins in four unique cabin communities. These ski cabins are individually owned by Osler members, are located on land owned by the Club, and are serviced by a variety of communal drinking water, wastewater, roads, and drainage systems. The Club also has three clubhouses which are also connected to drinking water and wastewater services. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills will enable this individual to build successful relationships with members and a solid mechanical aptitude will help facilitate successful operations of the community and Club infrastructure.

This role is 40 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the Club’s four cabin communities and our four-season business. This role will include weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the business.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide excellent customer service to all cabin owners, members, and contractors.
- Work closely and build relationships with Club members and coworkers.
- Become one of the key holders for the three clubhouses on property to support the Facilities team when required.
- Responsible for opening and closing the Clubhouses when required.
- Work closely with the Cabin and Properties Lead to facilitate the Club’s role in facilitating ski cabin construction projects in accordance with the terms of the Club’s Licence to Construct and Building Regulations.
- Support the operations of communal wastewater collection and disposal systems that service the communities and Club facilities.
- Participate in inspections, monitoring and routine servicing of equipment i.e. pumps, valves, filters and other machinery involved in wastewater systems.
- Help with the coordination and management of service providers & trades for both communities and buildings.
- Perform grass cutting in various locations (communal tile beds, pumphouses, community trails, etc.)
- Maintain safe access around the community infrastructure and buildings by shoveling snow from doorways, walkways, steps, and platforms.
- Perform internal and external repair and maintenance work to maintain community facilities and equipment in a safe and presentable condition.
- Promote safe and reliable operations of community and facility small water systems by performing routine inspections, data collection, monitoring operational parameters.
- Assist with seasonal drinking water reservoir cleaning program in compliance with Ontario Drinking Water Regulations.
- Support the management of drinking water and wastewater systems to ensure the systems are maintained and operated within accepted regulatory limits.
- Responsible for the waste and recycling management within the communities and on property ensuring pick up is on time and areas are safe and clean.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in drinking water and sewage infrastructure systems is an asset
- 2-5 years minimum of experience with camp-grounds, construction or hands on mechanical systems or related experience
- Demonstrated, exceptional customer service skills
- Must have a valid Class G drivers’ license in good standing
- Experience with small repairs e.g. drywall, painting, etc. would be an asset
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with confined spaces would be an asset
- Must be physically fit and be able to perform in physically demanding activities e.g. snow shoveling, hand tools
- Must be comfortable working from heights e.g. ladders to roofs
- Must be able to work alone without direct supervision
- Must be able to work in all types of weather e.g. cold, heat, rain, wind
- Experience using Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Self-driven, pro-active, flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities
- Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail
- Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity
