**Position Description**:
Our Occupational Health team is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to join their team

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

- Running a clinic with booked visits and walk-ins;
- Provide first aid to staff injured at work;
- Provide initial work up for blood and body fluid exposures;
- Provide follow up with specialists as needed;
- Ensure all initial health assessments and needed immunizations are completed for all new hires;
- Provide TB testing and readings and follow up, assist with other department needs as they arise (ie: exposures, resp season);
- Follow-up with staff who have submitted Safety Learning System (SLS's).

**What you will bring**:

- Two (2) year Community College diploma in Practical Nursing;
- One (1) year of related experience;
- Registered with the College of Nurses (RPN);
- Knowledge of how to administer injections (IM, SC, intradermal);
- Knowledge of how to perform head to toe assessment;
- Knowledge of safe medication administration;
- Knowledge of nursing process;
- Basic first aid;
- Mental health first aid;
- Professional and respectful attitude;
- Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, implement, evaluate and problem-solve;
- Ability to participate as an active team member;
- Advanced communication skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Advanced computer skills;
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety;
- Knowledge of WSIB and Ministry of Labour guidelines;
- Knowledge of Public Health Initiatives and Measures.
