Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students in the classroom, including helping with assignments and projects
- Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress
- Assist with record-keeping
- Cleaning and diaper changes

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

This position is part-time. The days of work would be Wednesday and Friday with a 7.5 hour shift between the hours of 7:30-5:15 (15 hours per week) with the possibility of getting more hours if full time staff book holidays, appointments or call in sick.

The start date will be Friday September 27th, 2024

This part-time position could potentially become full time for the summer months leading into the Fall of 2024.
