**LEGAL COUNSEL**
IMP Group International Inc. is a privately owned, diversified company focused on global, sustainable growth, with 3,500 experienced people delivering service, quality and value to customers in aerospace, aviation, healthcare, information technology, hospitality and property development business units.
Commencing immediately, we have an opening for a **Legal Counsel** to join our in-house legal team. As a member of our In-House legal team, you will provide advice and assistance on a wide range of legal issues to our broad range of internal clients across multiple jurisdictions and in varying and diverse industries.
In the role of **Legal Counsel**, you** **must be comfortable and effective working both independently and also in a team environment comprised of business unit management and other corporate operational departments. Strong communication skills and the ability to present practical, business-based solutions to legal challenges are key requirements for success in this role. In addition, experience providing proactive legal advice and assessing enterprise risk are necessary for this role.
- are members of, or eligible for admission to, the Nova Scotia Barristers Society;
- a minimum of three to five years of relevant legal experience;
- experience in corporate/commercial law and/or labour and employment law; and
- a demonstrated interest in business.
