**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- As a RCNS Team member, communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- As a RCNS Team member, maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning, ensuring all materials are accessible and well-maintained.
- **Qualifications**:

- Taking Early Childhood courses or in the process of starting, an asset.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential; experience in special education is a plus.
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED Level C, updated Health Assessment and Immunization and clear Vulnerable Sector check (current within 6 months ).

Expected hours: 30 per week
