You have experience in a commercial kitchen.

**Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Producing high quality products that follow the established dietary needs of a Ketogenic lifestyle - we want your cooking skills to shine
- Ensuring that work areas and the production facility are always kept clean and sanitized - you love to keep things tidy as you work
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production through carefully attention to recipe requirements - waste not, want not
- Dish washing and daily / weekly cleaning tasks - it’s everyone’s job
- Assisting other team members as needed - we’re a team
- Ensuring that required standards are adhered to in the storage, production and preparation of food - in quality, quantity and safety - work with care
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to the correct quality and portion size - follow that recipe
- Time management to achieve assigned tasks in each shift - watch the clock to stay on track
- Actively problem solving any issues that arise - how can I help?
- Tracking supplies and inventory - if it’s low, put it on the list
- Packing orders for customers and deliveries - with love and care
- Process POS transactions for customer purchases - swipe, tap, go
- Paying attention to all preparation and cooking equipment when using to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in good operating order and immediately report any concerns to the lead culinarian - keep an eye on our mechanical team members

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred but not necessary
- Minimum 2-5 years commercial cooking experience and experience in a culinary leadership role preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, fellow employees, and customers
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and work minimum 5-hour shifts in hot conditions
- Must have experience calculating figures and amounts and performing mathematical functions to meet the needs of batching up or down recipes
- Daytime and evening availability from Monday - Saturday (minimum 1 evening shift/week)
- Police check required
- Non-disclosure agreement will be signed prior to hiring

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
