Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently seeking qualified **HealthCare Aide** to join our clients healthcare team based in various locations around the Sunshine Coast in BC.

This is a 3-6 month contract with the opportunity to get extended. In some cases, accommodations may be paid for.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Works as a member of an integrated team to support nursing/technical staff within a high volume Long Term Care environment to provide support to patients.
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or another regulated healthcare professional.
- Perform a variety of non-direct and/or non-clinical healthcare supports to clients, residents, families, and/or visitors in long term care, assisted living and home settings in accordance with the established care plan and safety requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program and successful completion of an Acute Care Skills Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within a Long Term Care setting.
