We're looking for a driven and outgoing individual to join our growing team of Japanese knife lovers As a member of our team you will be responsible for assisting customers with a variety of retail concerns, and must have a passion for helping others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to learn and share expertise on Japanese knives and other store products to assess and meet customer needs
- Ensuring customers receive outstanding service by maintaining a friendly and positive environment
- Ability to address all customer questions/concerns in a professional manner
- Packaging orders that come through the shop’s website in an efficient and accurate manner
- Ensuring the front and back of the shop remain clean and organized
- Processing transactions through shopify POS
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to accept feedback

You’d Be Great For This Role If:

- You are outgoing and enthusiastic
- You have a knowledge or willingness to learn about Japanese knives
- You have prior experience in a professional kitchen and/or a love of cooking
- You have strong interpersonal skills
- You have previous sales associate experience in a similar environment
- You demonstrate a willingness to learn how to sharpen knives or know how to sharpen knives already.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
