**Quality Assurance Supervisor**

**REPORTS TO**:
Senior QA Manager

**SOME OF THE** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: EXPERIENCE IN FOOD INDUSTRY IS MUST**
- Maintenance and implementation of Sanitation program as per standard requirements.
- Maintenance of the company’s Organic, Gluten Free Certification Program, policies and procedures.
- Manage implementation and maintenance of the company’s Kosher Certification Program, policies and procedures, programs and control.
- Responsible for ensuring the pest control is being conducted as specified on the PCO contract.
- Manage implementation and maintenance of the company’s HACCP system, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), BRC System, policies and procedures, programs and control.
- Assist QA Manager and Management in the event of a recall, food security and crisis management.
- Responsible for ensuring all non-conforming product is segregated and properly labelled.
- Conducts internal auditing as per BRC requirements.
- Ensure customer specifications for food safety and quality are met at all times.
- Conduct customer complaint investigation.
- Ensure microbial testing (i.e., environmental, finished product, ingredients etc.) meet specifications.
- Maintain supplier approved programs and documents.
- ** Other duties as assigned.**

**EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- ** Degree or Diploma from accredited institutions,**in a related field equivalent to **Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry,** Biochemistry, Food Safety, Public Health.
- Minimum certifications in Quality Assurance, GFSI, Internal Auditing from accredited institution.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- ** Minimum 3-5years’ experience in a supervisor role**within the food industry maintaining / implementing GFSI / USDA / FDA Regulatory standards.
- ** Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a role within the food industry**monitoring quality assurance and control programs.
- Working experience of Genesis, R&D, SQL software to create nutritional fact table.
