Project Manager

A career as a Project Manager in the Project Management - Strategy and Integration team at National Bank means acting as an expert in business project delivery. Through your skills in planning, issue resolution, influence, cross-functional team mobilization, change management, as well as your knowledge of project methodology and human relations management, you have a positive impact on profitability, process efficiency, or the adoption of new behaviors by clients or employees.

**Your role**:

- Your primary mandate will be to ensure the daily orchestration of projects focusing particularly on the business aspect for the Retail and Business sectors
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders contributing to project realization and propose governance (PM, PO, SME, key project actors)
- Ensure effective project management across various aspects (scope, schedule, budget, risk, and issue management) from planning to closure
- Coordinate activities to build the work plan
- Analyze information, make recommendations to meet project delivery objectives and benefits
- Identify, manage dependencies, and coordinate with contributing teams
- May be required to support a Program Director in the daily management of multiple initiatives

Within the Strategy and Integration sector, you are part of a team of 60 colleagues reporting to the Senior Director of Project Management. **Prerequisites**:

- Bachelor's degree related to the industry and five years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the industry and three years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the Banking OR Financial Services industry; an asset
- Demonstrate experience in project management affecting people (clients/employees)
- Mastery of project management processes and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of change management and deployment concepts; an asset
- Ability to produce idea and finding syntheses
- Good ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
