**Job Description**:
**How You’ll Make an Impact**:
This newly created role will be owning and driving a robust strategic roadmap to accelerate our profitable growth journey, as well as leading the marketing function for the Health & Care division including oversight of campaigns, offer development and the creation of playbooks associated with offer and service portfolios.
More specifically, you will:
- **
Marketing**: Oversee the development and maintenance of offer playbooks, collection and analysis of market, client and consumer insights. Develop brand communications and sales/promotion campaigns based on information, participate as SME in client meetings, presentations and briefs as required. Create and manage “go to market” campaigns, participate in deployment initiatives as required. Track and measure success of initiatives and campaigns. Translate strategy into marketing plans, go-to-market strategies, sales targeting and overall plans for profitable growth. Participate in client and consumer insights initiatives locally and globally, validating insights for local markets
- ** Strategic Planning**: Own the strategic planning process, act as a driver for the creation of the segment strategy within the region, consulting with other regions/segments as appropriate, create the long-term roadmap for change identifying critical milestones to be achieved, drive transformational change within the segment portfolio to successfully deploy and implement segment long term strategies. Support the set up and management of the market “datacube” which includes but is not limited to market data related to bed counts, client locations, demographics, characteristics, etc. Understand the prioritization of needs to create competitive differentiation within markets, map service priorities with operations and business development to assess current gaps in service priorities and service operations capabilities.
- ** Client and Consumer Insights**: Share understanding of market, client and consumer characteristics with segment team, service operations and global partners to better understand the needs of stakeholders and trends, provide support and training for operational, business development and support function teams within segment on offerings, changes to offerings, playbooks, market insights, etc.
- ** Functional Oversights**: Oversee business growth and transformation - food, offer development and data analysis functions and staff, ensure alignment with strategic plans within these functions, manage a team including development, coaching, and mentoring.
- ** Competitive Intelligence/Corporate Finance/M&A** - Develop strategic understanding of the market for Sodexo services within the region/segment, include but is not limited to economic, market and competitive intelligence. Add exposure and insights to processes related to finance and M&A, identifies synergies within areas
**Qualifications**:
**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:
- English fluency is a must, French fluency will be considered as a strong asset
- Post-secondary degree or graduate degree in marketing, business, administration or similar area or equivalent experience
- 5 years previous experience in senior marketing roles (preferably B2B and B2C healthcare or public environments
- 5 years previous experience in strategic planning
- 3 years’ previous leadership experience
- Ability to be a strategic and hands-on contributor
- Prior consulting experience at a strategic executive level. Prior M&A experience would be an asset.
- Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade
- Strong networking and motivational skills
- Strong organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Strong presentation skills with an ability to present professionally executives
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse teams and managing projects.
- Ability to create, analyze and interpret contractual, financial, technical and operational data
- Proven ability in development of marketing plans/campaigns
- Innovative leader and thinker
- ** Ability to travel across Canada up to 50% of your time. Some occasional travel to the US may be required.**
