Life Cycle Material Manager

We invite you to consider a career with us - come, experience our creative, innovative, and performance-based company **JOIN OUR TEAM** The **Life Cycle Material Manager** provides direct liaison with the customer on technical issues and ensures that all materiel support activities are conducted according to approved data, policies and procedures. _**This is a non-union position.**_ - **This position will require immediate Controlled Goods security clearance, therefore only Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.**_ **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** - Strive to consistently act in a manner in which reflects Cascade Aerospace’s culture and values; - Maximizes the ongoing effectiveness, efficiency and economy of their assigned materiel through a co-coordinated effort from all departments; - Responsible for materiel support activities that span the four distinct managerial life cycle stages: Conception, acquisition, in-service, and disposal; - Responsible to support the following activities for all managed materiel: - Configuration management - Testing and evaluation - Maintenance/Sparing - Technical publications and Continued airworthiness requirements - Acquisitions - Modifications - Installations - Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascade Aerospace’s Human Resources, safety and security policies and procedures; - Other duties as required. **CORE SKILLS** - Excellent communication skills: verbal and written; - Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements; - Proven customer relationship skills; - Good Initiative, productivity, and quality of work; - Good Interpersonal skills - gets along well with others; - Computer skills: proficiency with MS Office. **TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE** - Grade 12 (or Quebec Grade 11) AND completion of an acceptable accredited technologist level program in electronics or avionics at a technical institution or an acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience - At least two years of experience within the last 10 years, working as LCMM on electrical and avionics systems - Must be able to hold a Secret security clearance - Must be fluent in English, Bilingual (French) an asset - Experience using the Canadian Forces Supply System is an asset - ADAM and or DRMIS experience is an asset - CC130 avionics knowledge is an asset - Familiarity with Canadian environmental assessment policies an asset **REASONS TO APPLY** - Employee retention and engagement is important to Cascade, we value our employees; - Competitive salary, Extended benefits and Employee Resilience Program (all 100% paid by Cascade) are offered after 3 months employment; - Pension matching; - 3 Weeks paid vacation; - ATO (approved training organization) provides Endorsement (type) training & development; - Company-wide social events and family functions throughout the year; - Relocation may be available. **ABOUT CASCADE** Cascade Aerospace Inc. is a dynamic, privately-held Canadian specialty aerospace and defence contractor focused on providing long-term integrated aircraft support programs for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), military, government and commercial customers.
