Shipper and Receiver

Founded in 1980, **SCP SCIENCE **manufactures automated instruments, analytical equipment, reagents, and certified reference materials for the inorganic analytical chemistry laboratory market. The company has grown substantially in recent years through the development of extensive internal manufacturing capability, acquisition of several companies which have been incorporated into the main company, and expansion of its sales and distribution network around the world.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Receiving of goods as they are delivered; Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse;
- Labeling stock with SCP SCIENCE labels; unpacking and placing stock on shelves with use of a fork lift when necessary;
- Order picking & packing; labelling and shipping to customer (including transport bill of ladings);
- Prepare shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels and ensure that all orders and withdrawal requests from the warehouse are correctly fulfilled;
- Merchandise returns to suppliers;
- Consolidate shipping orders;
- Reconcile waybill, bill of lading with bill of materials and actual shipment arrivals;
- Ensure that the goods delivered to the warehouse are in accordance with approved orders and the associated bill of lading or invoice.
- Maintaining warehouse in neat order;
- Accomplish daily goods movement flow and submit to the Logistics head;
- Active participation in company year-end inventory count;
- Maintain the automated inventory management system to ensure that actual physical inventory matches the database logical inventory;
- Active participation in year-end Inventory;
- Other tasks as required.
- **Skills and Experience**:

- 1-2 years experience in a similar position is an asset (Not required)
- Dependable, dynamic person, able to work with mínimal supervision;
- Ability to drive a forklift would be an asset (Training will be provided)
- Prior experience having worked with Dangerous Goods would be an asset. (Not Required)
- Must be available and legally eligible to work in Canada.
