Major Projects team is growing here at rcs construction. We are on the lookout for a **Quality Control (QC) & Close Out Coordinator** to join our team based in our **Halifax** office. As an integral part of our Major Projects team, the QC & Close Out Coordinator will play a key role in **ensuring projects are properly commissioned, documentation is complete, and close-out procedures are followed to meet regulatory and client standards**.

How you’ll spend your day:

- Coordinating commissioning activities and collaborating with agents, trades, and site teams.
- Scheduling and documenting key system startup meetings and compliance testing.
- Managing life safety inspections, training sessions, and close-out documentation.
- Supporting QA/QC program development and ensuring permit and occupancy requirements are met.
- Participating in site walkthroughs, city inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will help you thrive:

- Postsecondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in construction, QA/QC, or commissioning with a general, mechanical, or electrical contractor
- Strong understanding of building systems, municipal inspections, permit processes, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and project tracking software (Procore experience is an asset)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation, testing, and compliance
