The NIKE Canada Customer Service Centre is located in Scarborough, near Eglinton Avenue East and Brimley Rd. **Position**:Security Guard **Site**: Nike Canada Warehouse - 260 Brimley Road, Scarborough **Hours**:Saturday and Sunday (0700-1500hrs) **Payrate**: $18.66/hour **Internal Posting Date**:October 1, 2025 **Internal** **Closing Date**:October 8, 2025 **External Closing Date**:October 15, 2025 **Duties and Responsibilities**: - Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure safety and security. - Perform regular security checks of the property, including parking areas, entrances, exits, and other designated areas. - Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access or unlawful activities. - Control access at entry points and ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises. - Respond to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate actions as needed. - Assist in the enforcement of company policies and procedures, including monitoring and reporting any suspicious activities. - Report any incidents, accidents, or security breaches promptly to the management team. - Complete daily logs and security reports, documenting any unusual occurrences. - Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors as needed. - Monitor surveillance cameras and security equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly. - Cooperate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities as needed. - Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. - Must be able to commute to the pre-deployment training (3 of 5 training days) - Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) - Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position - Other duties and responsibilities as stated and directed by the client and or management. **Prerequisites**: - Must have a Valid Ontario Security Guard License - Must have a valid (WSIB-Approved) First Aid and CPR Level-C Certification - Must be proficient in English (both oral and written) - Must be willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check upon offer of employment - Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses—proof required. - Authorized to work in Canada legally **Why choose Paladin?** - Opportunities for training and professional development - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Free Uniforms - Security license reimbursement - Dry cleaning & hemming/tailoring allowance - Additional perks - Enjoy financial flexibility with on-demand, daily pay
