Associate Principal, Consulting and Analytics

The Consulting and Analytics Associate Principal’s main mandate is to manage client engagements ensuring a high level of satisfaction and supporting repeat business. The Associate Principal leverages IQVIA’s end-to-end capabilities, unrivaled healthcare data, and a strong project team of consultants to provide clients with meaningful insights addressing their business needs. Associate Principals play a key role in supporting team development and growth through formal means (i.e., assignment of direct reports), along with day-to-day coaching and mentoring of the project team. Finally, a third area of key responsibility is leading IQIVA’s commercial consulting practice among a small, select group of assigned clients. For this group of clients, the Associate Principal takes responsibility for business development throughout each year and builds client understanding and relationships in order to identify, qualify and win consulting opportunities to meet our clients’ business needs and priorities.

**Accountabilities**:
**Engagement Management**:

- Drives and is involved in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clients.
- Primary owner of some client engagements with responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value.
- Manages/leads client interface and project team to achieve efficient and effective project delivery.

**Team Leadership**:

- Assumes people-management responsibilities for junior team members (1-3 direct reports).
- Participates in recruiting, onboarding, and training junior team members.
- Collaborates with senior members of the Consulting & Analytics team to help shape organizational culture and fostering of an environment which supports career progression for all members of the team.

**Account Management**:

- Responsible for significant and tangible client impact from all engagements. Seeks out and identifies new revenue opportunities at existing clients - ensuring a continuous flow of business from client engagements.
- Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets for a small set of assigned clients, by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that align to client priorities and strategic needs.
- Involved in cross-functional account planning and strategy with IQVIA’s Account Teams, IQVIA Technologies and our Real-World Solutions experts.

**Domain Expertise**:

- Maintains in-depth and current knowledge of client’s strategies, business issues and relationships with client’s senior management.
- Remains current on industry, client and competitive trends and directions to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues at clients.
- Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA’s Human Data Science capabilities in the Canadian marketplace, e.g., through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.

**Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required**:

- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or consulting industry, with Master’s degree preferred.
