Our Canadian client is looking for an experienced and certified forklift operator to join their growing team at their Surrey facility They are getting busy and are looking to bring on a brand-new operator for the graveyard shift. **Qualifications**
- Current forklift certification, with proven proficiency on the Counterbalance forklift.
- 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience, ideally with cross-docking.
- Experience loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy loads.
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
- Must have good math skills and be accurate.
- Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Steel toed boots in good repair.
**Responsibilities**
- Loading and unloading heavy product, some hand bombing required.
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage.
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.
- Work the overnight shift, 11 pm - 7 am with Fridays & Saturdays off, and at times the opportunity of OT.
