**Duties**
- Foster a culture of high performance within the collections team, promoting accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Leverage your extensive operations management experience to optimize both backend and front-end processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
- Design and implement cutting-edge operational strategies that improve efficiency and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and execute bold, data-driven strategies that identify new opportunities for growth and expand our market presence.
- Expertly navigate Canadian debtor and creditor laws, ensuring all operations comply with relevant regulations to protect the organization and maintain our integrity.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, debtors, and stakeholders, enhancing trust and collaboration.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover trends and insights that inform strategic decision-making, transforming raw data into actionable plans.
- Stay at the forefront of industry innovation by integrating advanced collection agency software, dialer systems, and other technology tools to drive operational excellence.
- Utilize your established connections with creditors, attorneys, and industry associations to strengthen partnerships and expand our influence, building a robust professional community.
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years in Operations Management within a collections agency, complemented by at least 7 years in the overall collections field.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
- Ideal roles include Operations Manager, Head of Operations, or Credit and Collections Manager.
- A solid track record of working as a collector, maintaining accurate records, managing trust accounts, and supervising a team of collectors.
- A valid collections license and successful completion of the CDSSA exam (or equivalent certification) are essential for this role.
- Bring your youthful energy and entrepreneurial mindset to our fast-paced environment.
- Experience in launching a collections agency from scratch will set you apart
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to connect effectively with diverse stakeholders, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Open to international travel as needed, bringing your expertise to new markets.
- Must be a Canadian citizen and reside in a major Canadian city.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
