**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Operations Lead, the incumbent of the position is responsible for the planning and execution of all warehouse shipments/receiving operations and inventory management.

**Specific functions**:

- Create manifests for daily shipping needs
- Plan transfers/pick-ups
- Generate pick lists for the daily schedule
- Picking and shipping of orders on time
- Responsible for handling complaints with carriers
- Negotiate and get the best transportation rates available
- Supervise warehouse staff with the help of the branch manager
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse
- Comply with all security policies and procedures and ensure the safety of warehouse employees
- Conduct monthly inspections of the workplace and send it to the Director of Human Resources
- Perform inventory accounts
- Work collaboratively with the branch manager to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist in hiring warehouse staff
- Other assigned functions

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Min. 1 year of forklift experience
- Valid, out of house forklift license will be considered as asset
- Min. 1 year of warehouse supervision experience
- Excellent communication skills; must be able to work well with others.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Possesses superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with Minimal supervision
- Strong leadership skills
- Attention to details
- Demonstrate leadership in achieving the company's short
- and long-term goals.
- Basic computer skills required in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Overtime may be required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
