Love boating and fishing? We are looking for someone to join our Courtenay sales team. Prior experience is required but more importantly, we want a person who is eager to learn and fits in well with our tight knit staff The main responsibility of the Sales Associate is to drive sales through engagement of customers, through ancillary sales and sharing of product knowledge. It's a great opportunity to join and grow with a rapidly expanding family run business in the Comox Valley

Duties include but not limited too
- Boat, Outboard engine and Trailer sales
- Customer service
- Water testing new boats/motors
- General maintenance & administration of the sales yard & store front
- Organizing
- Front end retail sales
- Emotional support for boat owners in their time of need.

Work Experience & Skills
- 1 year of related work experience preferred
- 2 years working in a Sales or Retail environment
- Experience in the Power Sports field may be advantageous
- Self-motivated & able to exceed sales goals
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Maintain an Elite level of customer service and communication on jobs
- Ability to stand for extended periods

**Salary**: $18.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
