Concrete Labourer

This position’s main responsibility is to perform labouring duties for our concrete and base crews including concrete preparation and clean-up. The Labourer is also responsible for actively participating in the Goal Zero Initiative.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Positive participate in company safety program and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Positively participate in Goal Zero Initiative, including adhering to the Defined Activities as defined for their position.
- Perform tasks as directed by Foreman/Crew Members.
- Assisting Concrete Finishers & Formsetters with concrete preparation and clean-up.
- General site cleanup.
- Assisting with equipment maintenance and/or operation as directed.
- Other duties as required

**Experience/Knowledge/Skills**:

- Valid driver’s license (class 5), with own transportation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in construction and specifically with concrete.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Ability to take direction, learn, and develop new skills as required for the role.
- Must be able to perform heavy manual labor under adverse weather conditions.
- Familiar with the materials, tools, and machinery used is considered an asset.
- Ability to meet and adhere to all safety requirements and applicable safety policies, including pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical testing.
