**School Caretaker
**Substitute Caretaker positions are**:
- full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday to Friday
- various day and evening shifts (8 hours shifts with various starting times from 6:00 am with the last shift at 3:00 pm)
- 6-month terms with the possibility of renewal and permanent placement
- dispatched daily and located at various schools and buildings throughout Winnipeg School Division
- 85% cleaning and 15% boiler maintenance
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the field of building cleaning maintenance along with knowledge of and exposure to commercial cleaning products or equipment preferred. Will also consider those who have completed 5th Class Power Engineer's course but need to complete Provincial Exam and/or boiler hours.
- For Caretaker positions, **ONLY **Valid Fifth (5th) Class Power Engineer's Certificate or higher (document to be attached).
- Valid Class 5F Manitoba Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to read, write and speak English in order to identify and interpret oral and written documentation relating to the job requirements, methods, procedures and policies of Winnipeg School Division and communicate effectively with the supervisors, school staff, students and visiting public.
