We require proper completion of paper work and a willingness to take direction to complete work assignments on your own or with a partner. Key Responsibilities: - Installation, repairs and maintenance on overhead doors, interior/exterior man doors, automatic door systems - Troubleshoot problems and providing solutions - Supervising and teaching junior technicians - Taking the lead role while on service calls and installation jobs - Maintain work truck (re-stock truck, keep tools/parts organized and report any issues with the vehicle to management) Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to work at heights is a must - “G” class license - Excellent customer service abilities and communication with our customer/ office staff - Experience in the overhead door and dock industry along with hollow metal pedestrian doors and associated hardware. - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to write and communicate in English - Working at heights certifications, WHMIS, equipment operation certifications is an asset - Welding or electrical knowledge is an asset ADDITIONAL TRAINING AVAILABLE Pay commensurate with skill and experience. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
