**Responsibilities**:
- Employee Payroll
- Maintaining accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Preparing financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
- Processing payroll and remitting payroll taxes
- Managing cash flow and preparing cash flow projections
- Assisting with year-end audit preparation
- Providing support to other departments as needed
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar finance administration role. Experience working in a professional services company, such as a law firm, is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to commute to our head office in Richmond Hill, Ontario
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with some work-from-home availability (require to be on the office 3-4 days per week). We offer a competitive salary, health benefits, vacation, and opportunities for career growth within our firm.
